A bit of background info first:
This coming Friday will be our 6 year anniversary!
I've made a huge effort not to think about it too much because I don't want to get my hopes up... besides, Paddy has been adamant that he won't propose until the latter part of the year. So I've been rather casual about it until tonight when he calls me from work (he works interstate- we have a kinda LDR happening). Anyway he tells me to take the car in to the mechanic to have a service check. I thought this was rather odd, considering he gets home this Thursday and can take it in himself...
He then tells me to book our little baby (the dog) into a kennel for the weekend coming...
So I go a bit loopy and ask 20 million questions... and the general reply was "Don't you worry about it..." (in a very mischievous voice)
Soooo I'm thinking.... these requests can only add up to one thing: He's taking me away for the weekend!! And we're driving there. And we're not taking the dog. AND it's our 6 year anniversary. hmmmmmmmmmmm......
This could purely be a perfectly loved-up weekend away to celebrate 6 years together - and if so I will be ecstatic!
BUT....
okay no, I'm not going to say anything more about it....
.... ok one more thing - did I mention we purchased a stone and ordered a custom setting in March?
