Soap Opera stars wed in Paradise--ring pics...

I was reading the lastest issue of In Touch and there was an article on the recent wedding of All My Children''s Alexa havins and Justin Bruening. I scanned the article and hopefully it will show up clear. He proposed with 3 eternity bands, tow have diamonds and pink sapphires and the middle one is an all diamond shared prong band.

I tried to crop to get a close-up of the rings...the pink sapphires alternate 2 pink, 2 diamonds, etc..

Oh how cute! I always thought they looked great together. I saw the proposal on the All My Children set but couldn''t see the rings close enough. I didn''t know that they had pink sapphires in them. He gave them to her with a different meaning for each one. It was very sweet. I''m glad to see they tied the knot!

I read that he proposed to her with those rings but then was confused because in the picture of them getting married it looked like she had on a ring with a ''stone'' like a diamond or something, it was sticking out. But they didn''t get a close up of it and then only showed that same in-set one (This was in US Weekly, are they practically the same mag or what?!)...

I liked the idea of wearing three bands like that, fun!! But I think I''d go for it more like a RHR than w-rings...

I like her character on the show, she''s a cutie.

nope, her character on the show was pregnant a while back but as far as I know she doesn''t have any children in real life.

Kelly and her husband Mark used to be on AMC a long time ago...now I think both their characters are gone and have been for a while? They met YEARS ago. They have 3 kids together I think...she now hosts with Regis.

This gal is a new gal who''s been on for a few years, she and this guy are young compared to Kelly and Mark! But yeah funny about marrying your coworker. It''s not unheard of. Blaire on OLTL married Max a long time ago (in real life and like 3 times on the show!) and they are still married ! There are a few others I think...aka Vanessa Marcil (Las Vegas, previously of GH) used to be with ... I want to say Nicholas from GH?

The guy who plays Nicholas on GH (Tyler Christopher is his name I think) was married to Eva Longoria who plays Gabrielle on Desperate Housewifes. I kind of think that maybe he was involved with Vanessa Marcil at one time, too. Not sure whether it was before or after he was married to Eva Longoria, though.

Kelly Ripa is too cute, and so is her husband! Friday, my friend called me to tell me that Rick Sprinfield was on Regis and Kelly, so I turned it on. After Rick Sprinfield finished singing "Jesse''s Girl", Kelly ran up on stage and looked just like a teenager who was ready to faint over seeing her idol! It was just so darned cute! I didn''t really watch All My Children much back when she was on the show, but I have enjoyed watching her with Regis. She''s a HUGE improvement over Kathy Lee Gifford IMO! I read an interview in TV GUIDE with her quite a while back where she said that eventhough she has achieved quite a bit of fame herself in the past few years, she has never gotten over being "starstruck" over so many of the other celebs she has met through her work. After seeing her nearly swoon over Rick Springfield, I think I believe her now...lol. Can''t blame her, either...he still looks dang good! Hey, he was a former soap star, too, come to think of it!

yeah thats right, Vanessa and Tyler dated....not married. She ended up married to David Austin Greene (?)...he played some guy on 90210. They have a kid together too. I LOVE Vanessa, she has always been one of my fave soap stars and TV actresses EVER, I loved Brenda on GH (probably also because people would tell me I looked like her, I wish!!), and I am SOO happy she made it onto Las Vegas and has really made a name for herself off soaps. Many times soap stars try to leave soaps and make it in prime-time but it doesn''t work.

I red that Tyler and Eva are married, they are separated now, getting divorced right? I can''t see them together at ALL, she seems like such a wild child! Plus she seems ''older'' than him if that makes sense.

Rick was on GH when I was a little girl, my Mom always watched ABC soaps in the summer, she''s a teacher, so I grew up watching these soaps in summer afternoons in between playing outside with friends...it was a blast.

Mom had a big crush on Rick and so did I!

I am a huge fan of AMC and have watched it since I was 12!!!! I remember Kelly Ripa saying that when Mark came to audition for the soap, she knew then and there that they would get married. He is on a lifetime show and besides being on Live with Regis and Kelley she also stars on Hope and Faith.

I know what you mean about Tyler and Eva not seeming like a match. She does seem like a bit of a party girl or something. I think she''s dating a player from the Spurs right now, isn''t she? Tyler, on the other hand, seems like more of a brooding type. You don''t see much about him in the news at all.

As far as her seeming older...I think it''s because she often "plays" older in her roles. She was on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS for a couple of years before Desperate Housewives. Her character on that show seemed to be someone who''d been "around the block" a few times, if you know what I mean

. The only role I''ve seen Tyler in is on GH, and I think that he''s actually way older than the part he plays. I''m thinking he''s around 30, and the role of Nicholas is a guy in his early 20''s. I remember reading in TV GUIDE a while back that Eva is only a couple of years older that Jesse Metcalf, who plays her younger lover on Desperate Housewives...and he''s 24 I think. So in reality, Tyler is probably older than Eva!

I didn''t really watch Rick on GH when he was on the show, but I did have a crush on him when I was in highschool and he was more well known for his singing. That''s why my friend called me the other day to tell me he was on Regis and Kelly. We had been talking about who our highschool idols had been, and where they were now. He was one guy that we both liked back in the day...lol. Ironically, just a couple of days later she saw that he was going to be on the show, so she called me to tell me to watch! I''m really dating myself now...but my all time FAVORITE was BARRY MANNILOW!

I still go see him in concert whenever he comes to town. He is one person that I absolutely refuse to miss whenever he plays anywhere nearby. Him and REO SPEEDWAGON. Can you tell I have ecclectic taste?
