Softer prongs? Another setting?

I purchased this ring a few years ago and love the stones but not the setting. The prongs are too pokey. I thought about selling it but I think I’d rather keep it and make it more comfortable (my husband also helped me pick it out which is not the norm for us so that’s another reason I’d like to make it work). I’m all about comfort with everything. There are stones only on the top of my finger but I still want comfort to be paramount when other fingers touch it, etc.

Would it be a simple fix to soften the prongs so they aren’t pokey? And do you have any ideas for other settings should I decide to go crazy and take the expensive route? I’m very much into classic looks.

I have the same issue with my 7-stone band! Someone posted a pic a while back of a ring they ordered from IDJ I believe. I think it was a custom order to have the ends look like this:



Idk if it'd be an easy or inexpensive "fix." I look forward to what the community has to say!
