Putting out feelers for my sapphire since I just bought a slightly larger one from JW.

1.52ct Blue Sapphire (GIA heated, report to follow this post shortly) 8x6.05x3.8mm Oval. Recently recut by Jerry at Gemart Services to polish and reground the table. He also added in 28 facets to the pavilion. The GIA report was before the recut so the dimension previously were 8x6.05x4mm.
Overall the blue is a gorgeous color. What I would call a med. royal blue. It is a sleepy sapphire and there is definitely extinction as shown in the pictures, but I don't think it takes away from the overall look. And it is less noticeable when set.
