Hi all,

Well, I know I just posted a SMTB thread on this beauty, but I've decided that I must part with it. It's a beautiful band, but we're in the middle of some rather expensive home renovations and I've decided I would feel best if I let some of my "non-essential" pieces go, especially since I seem to be keeping my MRB. Given that this is a full size too big for me, I've decided to let this one go first.

It's an authentic 1920's platinum eternity ring with french cut diamonds and a single baguette diamond. This was purchased from Craig Evan Small in Los Angeles. I was never told the color and clarity of the stones, but they appear quite white to me. I would say somewhere in the near colorless range and eyeclean as far as I'm concerned. It's a size 6.75 and cannot be sized.

I am selling it for what I paid -- $3100.

One logistical issue: I am in Canada and won't be back in the US until early July. That is the earliest I would be able to send this out since I am unable to obtain sufficient insurance via the post office here. So, if you're interested and you don't mind waiting, I would be happy to hold it for a small deposit. Please contact me to discuss details.

Thanks!

Haha, I know the feeling. The universe often tells me I need to buy jewelry.

I don't have a mm gauge, but my best educated guess comparing it to others is that it is likely around 2mm - 2.2mm wide. Hope that helps!

Sounds perfect! (After trying on the very skinny Metro @ Tiffany, I just know I like stand alone bands above 1.5mm)
Now let's see if my husband is in agreement with the universe!

Damn these big fingers of mine! I'm Canadian too and this would have been perfect.

Good luck with your sale.

Also Canadian, and if this were a 6 it would be my wedding band in a heartbeat as it is EXACTLY what I'm looking for!

Good luck with your sale, I am very jealous of whoever gets to own this beauty!

Just wanted to update this thread and tell you all that I'm lowering the price to $2,799! Need to pay for my new french cut band....oh yeah, and the kitchen!

Re: 1.75 cttw 1920s French Cut Eternity Ring

I wanted to add that I have seen this lovely band in person and it is just gorgeous. The workmanship is excellent and it has great presence for a delicate piece.

Just bumping this because I am traveling to California this week and can send the ring out then! Give me a shout if you're interested!

Re: 1.75 cttw 1920s French Cut Eternity Ring

Just wanted to give a heads up that I will be sending this band to JbEG in the next little while where it will be listed at a higher price to compensate for the cost of commission. I am highly motivated to sell, so if you would like to make me an offer, please do so ASAP! Thanks!
