First up is a vintage, 18K yellow gold ruby & single cut diamond ring made by designer Carl Bucherer (AKA Bucherer). The oval shaped ruby measures approximately 5.5mm x 4mm. There are 10 single cut diamonds prong set circling around the ruby in the center that weigh approximately 0.30ctw. They are approximately G-H in color and VS2-SI1 in clarity. The ruby is a stunning red color -- it shows slight wear including some minor abrasions. Currently approximately a size 6 1/4 and could be re-sized within reason by your local jeweler. Top of the ring measures approximately 9mm x 7.5mm & tapers to approximately 2mm at the back of the band. The inside is stamped "750" (European for 18K gold) & "CB". Weighs approximately 2.52 grams. Bucherer navy blue silk ring box will be included with this purchase.
