SOLD 3-Stone Rubellite and Diamond Trellis Ring by Wink

I am selling my 3-stone rubellite and diamond trellis ring by Wink Jones, in order to fund a new project. The rubellite was cut by Richard Homer, and the two trillion diamonds were sourced by Wink and sold to me as D, VS, excellent cut. The ring is currently on consignment with JBEG. They are OK with me listing on DB for extra exposure.

You are selling 2 amazing pieces (that I've seen so far...) What are you up to? Is there something significant in the works that you are aiming for? Hope you'll share some details...

DS2006 probably knows what I am up to. But I will tell you! It's a Van Craeynest pendant. I am selling to cover the cost of the pendant stone (I haven't bought it yet). I am going to list another piece in a little bit!

I was asked about the color of the rubellite. I thought I should post the description by Richard Homer:

``I have some killer, top Nigerian Tourmaline rough that will cut an 11mm round....the color is strongly purplish Red (Red primary hue) but very saturate and stunning....will cut a gem like a rich vibrant cranberry with no orange or brownish undertones at all. THe material is virtually flawless and stunning. A gem from this material would run $2,400 in this huge size. The material is natural...no heat treatment...from God to me to you."

In real life, the rubellite is bright and fiery. Under some lighting conditions, it looks purplish (like in my pictures and Richard's picture). Under other lighting conditions, it looks more red, like in Wink's videos and pictures. I think my pictures and Wink's pictures/video are more accurate than JBEG's. I have emailed JBEG, asking them to re-photograh the ring so the rubellite doesn't appear as dark and/or brownish.
