This garnet was purchased from one of Tan's ebay stores last year. I really love the color but just haven't been inspired to set it. please excuse the pictures. the garnet got dirty while taking photos on the window. Do you have any more pics you can post here pls? Also, what is the colour exactly, is it closer to darkish pinkish rasberry red or does it show other shade(s) depending on lightling? What would you say about its cut? Does it sparkle lots? I've been meaning to get a red or pink stone to set into a pendant or RHR and so far the ones i've looked at are either too dark or too small or doesn't sparkle enough. Sorry, your post above said something about luster, but being a colour stone novice, I have no idea what you've said! 8)

I bought the stone from Tan so the luster was just what he had on the listing. I will try to answer your questions but I'm also a novice when it comes to colored stones.

Do you have any more pics you can post here pls? I only have the 3 in the listing...however if you want a specific picture let me know and I will try to take it.

Also, what is the colour exactly, is it closer to darkish pinkish rasberry red or does it show other shade(s) depending on lightling? The color does change depending on the lightening but not much. I would put it on a medium dark pinkish color.

What would you say about its cut? For a Tan stone I was very happy with the cut. Though it is not precision the cut is very good and gives off sparkle!

If you are interested the only suggestion I can make is I would be happy to offer a return period. When you get it just shoot me an email and let me know if you want to keep it or not. I'll refund everything and you can just pay return shipping.
