This is a gorgeous, chunky 9ct yellow gold padlock bracelet. It is the standard 19cm (about 7.5 inches) in length, and the links are each individually stamped with the 9ct hallmark. Each link is 10mm in diameter, and 3mm thick.
When I purchased it, it was classified as 'semi-solid', which just means the links are hollow, but the 'walls' of each link are quite thick. It doesn't have that 'tinny', cheap quality and clinky sound about it that so many hollow bracelets do these days, nor does it have that bright metallic yellow hue. It's a deeper, more classic shade of gold which I much prefer to the really bright yellow that's so common nowadays in alot of jewellery shops.
The padlock itself is 18mm by 18mm, and has a pretty, antique style pattern engraved on the front, with a keyhole feature. The arm of the padlock is in great condition and clicks firmly into place. There is a tiny dent on one side of the padlock I have highlighted in one photo, purely to inform potential buyers of the exact condition of this bracelet. The dent is about 1mm long and is not visible when the bracelet is worn. The bracelet's safety chain is heavy-duty, the chain is about 2.5mm wide.
Overall the whole piece is in great pre-loved condition. I don't wear it now that I have my tennis bracelet, and would love to see it go to a good home.
