Antique cut Light Brown Purple Oval Diamond. It weights .80 and has measurements of .65 X .4 X .3

Its quite deep and has small table and lovely chunky facets.

It even has an open culet!

He is quite a chameleon and changes color from brown to purple.
I looks quite clear to my untrained eyes (no visible imperfections to a naked eye) but to be on a safe side I'll say it's a SI1 - SI2.

It will look beautiful in a right hand ring or a pendant.

Very fiery stone.

You know what I said when I saw your marquise for sale? I thought "I want this marquise! It's so beautiful, but DH will kill me if I buy anything else. At least it's not an antique oval or else I wouldn't be able to resist."

I am cleaning up my jewerly box and trying to find better homes for my unset stones. They deserve better owners than I am

My rule is - anything that I did not use for over one year needs to go. I am trying to keep only pieces that I am attached to, and free up some funds for more diamond adventures.

And everything that is below a thousand cannot break a marriage (happily married for almost nine years ).

I have few more things that I plan to list...

Under 1k shouldn't right?! But I just spent over 4k on something... And spending another 1k on another... And now I see this stone..

ETA: I'm gonna mull it over. And I will contact you via email when I have come to a firm decision to purchase. I don't wanna waste your time.

Also, what are the measurements? I don't understand the .65 x .4 x .3. Am I just missing a brain wave? I admit I haven't been feeling very well today. Is it mm? Isn't that super super small?

I'm guessing that .65 of 1cm, so 6.5mm x 4mm x 3mm?

I'm sure this cutie will be gone by the end of the day!
