Hi! Not sure about any treatments done to the sapphire. It might be worth contacting the designer- I would be happy to do that for you if you're interested. For the premium that she charges for her handmade pieces I would assume untreated stones- but I could check to make sure!

At one point I talked to Catherine herself about sizing it down for me ( I never did) and creating a matching baguette band. She's really a great person to work with. She has her own site and they also sell her pieces on Clay Pot. I've included links below.
