I'm tryyyying! My friend wants a pear for an engagement ring but her boyfriend is low on funds because he just graduated and started his internship. And this is an AWESOME price. I sent this to her but she hasn't responded! I am hounding her!

I suspect 6.5 would be fine. It's at 5.75 now and the pave only goes half way down the shank. I wouldn't think that it would be a big deal at all to go to 6.5 but not being a jeweler I can't say myself.

.76 carat. lol! Yes, I'm well aware the second hand market isn't exactly booming. DBL does amazing work and doesn't use low quality melee. The link I provided is to the diamond in the ring-straight from DBL.

The 18k rose is a beautiful peachy color, and the ring has so much coverage-it's a show stopper!

I got quite the deal on the setting (pre-loved) and sent it right back to David so he could find me a beautiful stone. He came through in spades and did a great job resetting. I'm not losing much on it and it hopefully will be a great deal for someone else!

DB has it's own issues with messaging. It's pretty abysmal in that regard. I could list over there if it came down to it-I was hoping LT was the answer to the messaging vortex that is the bistro though.

I've gotten quite a few messages about the ring and responded to all of them. I hate when technology doesn't work! I'm such a luddite.

No, I know that you respond via your own email, but if I'm not GETTING an email is there another way to retrieve it? Like on DB you can log in even if you don't get an email and go to your messages.

If it comes to it I can, but I was trying to avoid publicly posting my email.

Hi Mrs. T - messaging problems might explain the difficulty I had enquiring about your lovely earrings! Might I suggest you create a new email address just for this purpose? It only takes a few seconds at Yahoo or Gmail, but posting it to the ad might make communication a little more sure without opening up your address.....
