Anyone looking for project stones?

Double-sided meaning that instead of the pavilion-less flat bottom that rose-cuts usually feature, these have the same crown faceting on both sides of the girdle. When choosing them I deliberately selected stones with especially high domes - these little guys throw off as much colour as you'll ever get from rose cuts!

They're eyeclean up-close (and to the camera macro!) and look "white" to the eye in-person (sold to me as F/G). The white background pics are true to life re. visible body colour.

Stones are ~4.5mm x 4mm - each has a slightly different shape so exact proportions will vary slightly. Stones have never been set. Selling because other projects and endeavours seem to always take priority over setting these, and I'm taking it as a sign to stop hoarding...

Thanks to the double-sided-ness and high domes the "see through" effect is greatly mitigated. I took the picture on with the cutting board background to try to show this - they still have that watery, liquid look and feel that makes rose-cuts so special, but they won't magnify all the features of the skin under them...

A couple of people have brought to my attention that this post would benefit from some settings thoughts. I originally got them with a DBTY type of bracelet in mind - the fact that they're double-sided eliminates flipping issues. I'm attaching a pic of what I'd planned, it's a bit out-of-the-box...

Retro, Patty - I would rather sell them as a set, but if there's no interest in a short time (a week or so) I'd be willing to split them up. Pricing for each pair would vary slightly (as ct and outline become more important), and I'd ask the buyer to pay shipping. I'll post an update on this thread to see if there's any interest, if you're still in the market then

LOL, Mary - I kinda wish I didn't have other stuff going on, or I'd be more tempted to hang onto them after photographing them!

Thank you for being willing to sell me a pair if a sale for the whole set doesn't go through. Here is the ring idea I have for them. They would be accents on either side of the larger pear stones. I have loved this ring since I seen it posted on the Celebrity Engagement Ring forum. I have a blue tanzanite pear and a mahenge spinel pear already and thought these 2 new ones might be a nice addition. Thanks again
