OK, it's time to pay for my new project, so I'm willing to accept any reasonable offer on this ring. If you want it, let me know and I'll set up a DB listing (the one I had expired and I'm not planning to relist).

The band has (4) Columbian emeralds totaling approximately .80 ct. and the another .25 ct of diamond melee. Ring is 18K and a size 6 (fully sizable). I paid $999 for the band less than 9 months ago.

Hi Enerchi,

This is for the SS project. I didn't get the stones from them, but they did make the setting. It's actually being mailed to me on Monday (I received the photos this afternoon). It is gorgeous, though I'm not sure of the reaction it will receive here on PS. It is a copy of a ring someone else had made, and while I did contact the owner before ever getting started on the project and got their blessing, I have a feeling some folks may feel bent out of shape that the design was duplicated as closely as possible. Anyhooo....that's a topic for a whole other post! So, there may or may not be a grand reveal, but if you really want to see it, ping me on DB and I'll send you some photos!

Thanks Missy! I feel like I'm on a revolving door of bling sometimes, but I think I got my RHR perfect this time and will not be upgrading or adding to the collection in this millenium!

And please please please post pics of your new ring when it is finished! We must be able to drool all over it! Why should anyone be bent out of shape?! You got permission to duplicate it so no worries!! Listen, if anyone gives you trouble send them to me. I know I look sweet but I'm from Brooklyn and we don't take crap from anyone! Hope the ring turns out exactly how you want it to!

Absolutely post your ring. Anyone who gets out of shape is a doofus if you got permission! (In my opinion, even otherwise, but I don't see how ANYONE could care if you asked beforehand.)

Yenny, do not for ONE second worry about copying a ring! I seriously doubt that there is anything posted here that is truly original anyway. But if people post a design here, then I say it is available to be copied. The first owner should be flattered! I really can't wait to see what you are getting! I am thinking maybe a 3 stone, but we'll see soon!

DS, the original owner was an absolute doll about it!! And yes, there isn't such a thing as "original" in most cases, I was just trying to be sensitive. However, I will share soon and ignore anyone who says anything negative!
