Re: Final Reduction! 3.02 carat round brilliant solitaire d

I wouldn't give up too soon. It took me months to sell both of the diamonds I sold. I think you might benefit from consigning if it doesn't sell here. People new to PS might be more willing to buy through someone like GOG. And you could buy your old cut from them and your commission would be small. They can get in almost anything you see on certain old cut sites.

Can I make a gentle suggestion?

You need better pictures. Seriously, those pictures don't do your stone justice. Find a sunny spot this weekend and take a ton. Then go through one by one on a computer and find the best ones.

THanks, I will take some better pics.

Also do you have the GIA certificate that shows the plotting?

Where did you get the stone? Did you have any ASET/IdealScope images or otherwise that you saved or filed away?

I agree that you need some better pictures to showcase this beauty!

GIA cert 2141417228 purchased through Martin at USA Certified diamonds, I did not get any ASET ON idealscopes.

The stone looks good! I still think you need to consider consigning with GOG. Most people aren't just going to send someone they don't know $27k. Like I said before, the commission is low if you buy another stone through them, and they can get in stones that you see from some antique diamond sites. But even if you find a diamond on ebay or an antique store, GOG can probably sell the stone for more than you can, so you might clear almost as much as selling this way.
