Hello everyone,

After a long hunt, I just purchased a gorgeous 2.38 ct round champagne colored diamond (VVS1 / Excellent cut, polish and symmetry).

Now I enter phase II as I attempt to build my desired ring. I am going for a clean vintage petal design in 18 K yellow gold. I have delicate/slender fingers and want a rather thin band. Yet I want to make sure the width I go for is sturdy enough to hold the weight of my stone. Any advice on the band width I should go for would be greatly appreciated!!

Oh, and here is a photo of 'my sunshine' (it's the one on the LEFT)...

No advice on the width of the shank. But I have heard that euroshanks help with the spinning issue. Are you open to that?

my new ring has a euro shank and it does pretty good job keeping it from spinning as much
