some help with programs

hi girls, i''d love some help with my programs..really trying to finish all wedding stuff this wkend so i can relax

1. anyone know a good site to order simple programs?
2. my FI has long time friends as groomsmen--is it ok if I describe them that way in the program, or is there a more eloquent way?
3. the priest has said the unity candle is up to us. We are having a catholic wedding. In your opinion, is it a special thing to include? where would I get the candle?

Hi Janine,
I would suggest going to a local printshop (look in the yellow pages for a quickprint shop, offset press shop,etc.)
the one I used to print our partial diy invites had books with simple to not so simple programs

Also, you can describe your gms however you''d like. I''ve seen anything from "friend of the groom" to a sentence or two describing how they know each other,etc.

We''re also Catholic ceremony but can''t have a unity candle since museum chapel allows no open flame. We could substitute a sand or water type thing with the same idea, but we''re opting not to.
I think the unity candle is beautiful- I would think it would go well right after the vows or Nuptial Blessing.
If you have a soloist it is also a lovely time for a song- maybe the Wedding Song (a.k.a. There is love)

You can buy unity candle sets online, but frankly I would just buy a tall pillar candle and cylinder to use.
