Some pics of my engagement and wedding ring

OK - I am hoping this is going to work......I have been a lurker here for what feels like AGES (!

) so I am quite excited to show you my engagement and wedding ring. I am from the UK and bought the stone through Mark at ERD three years ago!! It is a 1.7 carat, I colour set in platinum, ideal cut, ex, ex. I love the stone, but am thinking of changing the setting, still 6 prong, Tiff-type setting, but set lower as I have two little girls - not the most practical of rings!

Just bear with me while I try to upload a couple of pics that I took today......

hit the "attach file" button in your post and browse to attach photos directly from your computer. You don''t need to link them from photobucket.

You can resize them in Paint too. I find that easier than using photobucket.

I have my pictures in Photobucket as well. What I do is resize them to the 640 x 480 and then I resave it to my computer. Then I click on the "attach file" button when I am posting the message here and voila!

Here is a hand-shot to give an idea of the size. Finger size is K (in UK) which I think translates to a 5/5.5 in US sizing?

Please do excuse poor quality, the camera is very good, but my photography skills are not....this was taken in natural lighting by the window

My wedding band....it is a slightly smaller version of the Tiffany Etoile band - 3mm instead of Tiffany''s 4.

My rings together.....sorry that the pic is not that clear. I would really like the Tiffany Novo band to sit in between these two for some extra sparkle!!!

Thanks girls! The etoile was custom made by my local jeweller here in Bath, UK (see mallory-jewellers.com) I loved the Tiffany etoile, but found it to be a little too thick at 4mm. I will try to post a pic of my engagement ring from the side, as I feel it is too high and would like to have it re-set, after seeing so many stunning rings here on PS I don''t know whether I would still have 6-prong, or whether I would like a semi-bezel like the Sholdt design that was posted recently.........
