Somebody just got married!

In the movie Muppets Take Manhattan, they put on a show and sing "somebody''s getting married...," well, this was my mantra for 2 days prior and the day of. I would randomly burst into song and then dance around giddily.

I was so ecstatic on my big day that I was oblivious to all the drama around me (and there was plenty). Here is one picture to tide you over until I get some better ones.

Ginger, the roses are called Black Magic. Not only is the color fabulous, the texture is like velvet.

my mother sewed 100+ individual petals together to make my ring pilow. I LOVE it!

My 2.5 yr old niece was my flower girl. She knew her job was to throw flower and she did, but only in one spot next to the runner. It was too cute.

Me with my grandmother who escorted me down the aisle. I had a huge scare before the ceremony when she fell and hit her head. You can kind of see her right eye is swollen.

Last one for now. The cake wasn't decorated at all like I'd expected. I told my florist to make a rose topper and a few small clusters (2-3 roses) to put on each tier. Instead he engulfed the second tier with flowers, completely hiding it. Oh well, it's still looked nice, esp when it got dark and we had the lit candles surrounding it..
