something other than unity candle

Happy Friday everyone!

I am looking for ideas of what to do while our friend is performing a song during the cermony. I think this would be the time when a lot of people would do the unity candle or sand cermony or rose ceremony. I am looking for creative ideas of something unique, emotional and heartfelt. We are totally fine to do something that is a little out there and very nontraditional-- we just can''t think of anything.

Any Ideas?

My best friend just got married in June and they did a hand blessing that I found to be really cool and romantic. I found the "script" I''ll copy it:

Officiant: [Bride], please hold [Groom''s] hands palms up, so you may see the gift that they are to you.
