I am soooo excited and anxious and nervous all rolled into one. SO and I''ve been talking about possibly a summer wedding next year, but now that it''s almost November, I had already pushed that thought aside. HOWEVER, I recently found TWO big clues that maybe he is alot closer to proposing than I thought.
1) He went ring shopping with this lady that cornered him at a DMS event recently. AND, most importantly, HE BOUGHT A RING!!!! (I know because I found the receipt!)
2) He told me he was traveling to visit a customer on the west coast today, and when I went to check his flight status, he is NOT booked on a flight to the west coast. He is booked on a flight to MY hometown! So I called my mom at work (not unusual-we talk everyday), and SHE CALLED IN SICK TODAY! (She''s hardly ever sick). So I called my dad at work (also not unusual-we talk about twice a week) and they told me that HE TOOK THE DAY OFF! Dum, dum, da, DUM!
We have two major events coming up this month before the Holidays (and he KNOWS that I will actually say NO if he proposes in Dec!). So it''s either very, VERY close or not until early next year. The first one is tomorrow, it is our 17th Monthiversary (I know, very sad that we celebrate every month!). The second one is a three day event in two weeks: the Dallas Margarita Ball.
I can''t even wait!!!! I have no idea what my ring looks like (he would not hear any of my "input"-but I hope he read all the links I sent him!) or what the setting will be or if he even knows my ring size! (I DID tell him that for most women, a good guess for their ring size is to look at her shoe size as that''s worked for all my friends and cousins, but I don''t know if that is a real science!)

instead of my ring size (5.5)!! i''d be cruising around with an engagement ring on my thumb!!
