Spanx help

I am trying to decide between these two items to go under my dress:

Which one is going to be tighter/ more coverage?

1) Undie-tectable Panty (62% nylon/ 38% spandex/ elastane)

or

2) Hide & Sleek Panty (79% polyester. 21% lycra spandex/ elastane)

I''ve never worn these or tried these on. I need one to help contain my hips

My guess is the one that is smaller... be careful about where the band ends though because there will be a bulge at that spot. I would recommend something with a long waist to avoid the bulge.

You could always try them on at the store with your underwear on to get a better idea. I have found that you can''t know until you try these things on.

I was just going to order from the website

One of them does sit up higher. Maybe I''ll try that one. If it doesn''t work with the dress I guess I can still keep it.

Personally, I like the power panties.

I''m not sure what you''re considering, but with the ones that go up higher like to the breast area, I found did not work for me. I felt like they tried to squeeze in my stomach so tight that they ended up pushing out my lower bell/gut, and I''m slim (size 0/2).

Spanx has an easy return process and the delivery will come with a return label, so I would order both of what you''re considering and just send back the one that you don''t want.

I have the ones that come up to the base of your bra, they ROCK. The only complaint that I have is on my back, they roll down.

I would say the higher ones, unless you decide to do the body one, which have the torso covered. You have less to worry about if you have it covered more in terms of any buldges.

I have the power panties and though they worked, they kept rolling down so I would go with something higher or that hooks onto your bra.

Google "lipo in a box." I love those WAY more than Spanx.

Whichever you go with, if you aren''t used to spanx-type undergarments, make sure you wear them a few times BEFORE the big day to try them out. I made the mistake of wearing mine the first time to a Christmas party only to learn that spanx upsets my digestive system (gives me diarrhea!) I''ve tried them a few times since, and every time I end up with cramps and ''issues''. Just thought I''d give you a heads-up in case you have similar issues.
