Spanx - Higher Power

So, I ordered this from nordstrom.com (during the sale) and just received them. I love how they smooth the areas below the waist - but the waist band (which comes up to just under the bust) is rather loose on me. Is it supposed to fit like this? I''m thinking of using garment tape and taping it to my skin. Suggestions?

I don''t really like my spanx. They look great but roll down all the time. It drives me crazy!

i am wearing the higher power with my dress. I like it, but almost wish i had a bra to attatch it to, its not really too big on top, but does tend to roll down. I plan on wearing my nu bra, but vegas in august might just make it slip off.

I got mine from nordstroms and got a smaller size than I thought per the sales girl...

I''m thinking of ordering these too, but I may just get the Power Panties, although having the higher power would be good in case I end up bloated...I dont know which size to buy though, I just make it into the B catagory but I''m afraid that they''d be too big...I may order an A and B and return the one that does not fit...at least nordstrom has a great return policy!

If you''re wearing them with a wedding dress, they may not slip down, but adding a couple pieces of garment tape to be safe won''t hurt.

Only think I don''t like about Spanx is how my skin looks when I take them off- Not sure if I want that on my wedding night?!? Do you guys experience that wrinkly effect- lol!

Hm, then garment tape would prob be needed

As long as the panty ones that go to the waist dont show alot under the dress (the waistband), I''ll prob go with those, I''m thin through the top, and while I''m not large by any means, I do have a little bit of a ba-donk-a-donk that could use shaping.

Maybe I needed a smaller size. I think mine are mediums and I am a size 2/4. The woman looked at me like I was crazy but I needed just a little sucking. I never tried tape. Luckily my wedding dress hides my "problem" areas so I am not wearing them.

I completely hear ya--I''m about the same size (I can gaurentee my butt''s prob bigger than yours though haha) and I just like to be smoothed out. I ordered both on sale, so I''ll see about the whole tape needing thing. I actually do want to wear them with the dress if they''re not too much of a pain.

sweetpea, sometimes I yell at myself when I feel fat because I am probably being silly but I have a small bone structure so 5 lbs looks like fat on me. Let me know how the tape works out!
