I'm having a wedding set dilemma. My e-ring is a 3 stone emerald cut ring with princesses in the band, and I picked out and bought a channel set wedding band with alternating princesses/baguettes. I originally loved it, now I'm having second thoughts. I guess I'm just used to seeing my e-ring alone and with the wedding band it looks "funny". Does it look funny to you? I appreciate any and all feedback.

:) Thanks in advance.

Edited to add: Any thoughts on what I should get, if I do decide to change it?

Sorry for the grainy pics and hand-in-the-scanner pics, but my digital is at FI''s house.

Another shot.

One more, sorry none of these are really good but you get the idea.

No, I like it! I remember when I first got married my e-ring looked funny with my w-band and I never thought I''d get use to wearing two rings together. Now, after 2 years of marriage I can''t image wearing just my e-ring w/ no w-band :) I do wear just my wedding band alone quite often (chanel set 1/2 ct. princess cuts) . But I promise, you''ll get use to it! If it''s really bothering you, go to a few jewelry stores and try on other bands. Maybe one will "click" better. But I think your set is beautiful!

Actually I think it looks wonderful with your ering!! You''ll get used to it. If you had to pick another band what would you pick??

I like them together too!

I actually really like the 2 rings together, and think they complement each other nicely. It takes time to get used to the two rings sometimes, especially if they were not a "set."

If no amount of reassurance from us changes your mind, perhaps you can wear that band on the right hand and choose another w-band? (Though if you go this route, I would definitely stick to things you can at least try on first to make sure you like the two together).

But just to reiterate...I think they look great as they are!

I love them together! Btw, that EC set in yellow gold looks wonderful on your long, slender hands! Any chance you could take that picture again in better light so I could take a another look at that set? I''ve been into whitegold here lately but those look great.

I think that they look great together and you are just not used to them yet.

See how you feel after you''ve worn them a while and then you can decide whether or not to change anything.

I too think that the rings looks great together. But if you''re not convinced, I second the idea that you should go and try on all different types of other wedding bands. Hopefully you will either fall in love with a new one or learn that you are already in love with this one!

Good luck, and more pics when you get that digital camera back!

Hey!! That''s my wedding band!

My wedding band is the exact same as yours. I think the two rings look great together. You''ll get used to it! Take care....

Bethanying - I love your two rings together. I love your three stone emerald ring. That is like my new favorite ring style (that and the solitaire with pave band that is oh so popular on here.) Anyway.. your rings are gorgeous and they look great together!

I think your two rings look great together but it''s really a personal preference. I know a lot of women who wear the two rings on different hands, in fact, i suspect i''ll be one of them. I''m searching for a wedding band now and just don''t like the look of two rings on (my) one finger.

I think you set is very beautiful but you are the one who has to LOVE it. If you have doubts go try on a couple of other styles and see if there is something out there you like better. you can always wear your current band on you right hand.

I think they look good together.

I bought a plain band to wear as a spacer between my upgraded e-ring and my 1/2 aniversary band that has not arrived yet.

I have been wearing the band for 2 weeks now and when I take it off and just wear the e-ring, it looks odd to me. My 13-year old son even noticed the difference. He asked me, "Mom, why aren''t you wearing your under ring?"

Wear the band for a few more weeks and if you still don''t like the look, then start looking for something different.

Thanks for all of your replies. It''s good to hear that I''m not the only one who thinks that the 2 together takes some getting used to.

My instinct and gut feeling told me that this was the one, but I guess I was just doubting myself- I will go try on other rings JUST to make sure ;)

Christy42- These rings are white gold (can''t wear platinum, I beat it up really bad). I will be glad to post more pics when I get my digital from FI''s house. I would love some pretty ones in sunlight!

Thanks for the votes of confidence- I feel better now. I guess I will have to wait until July to fully get used to the look- if FI catches me wearing it too much he might start to wonder if I''ve lost it....

I must join the club and say that I think the band complements your ring wonderfully.

But if you have doubts, go try on some other styles to compare.

Looks fine to me. I guess the only other thing I could see is a plain band.

It''s gorgeous together!

Lovely wedding set!

Another vote for "wear it for a while and then decide".

Initially, I liked the look of my e-ring alone.....and was tough to get used to both rings.

NOW.....when I take my w-ring off, my e-ring looks "lonely"...hehehe. Just doesn''t look right.

It''s all in what you get USED to seeing.

I think your set looks beautiful and very nicely matched.

It think it is stunning..

Ditto with what everyone else says...the w-band looks beautiful with your e-ring!! You''re probably just used to seeing it by itself. But it does look wonderful together...

Sorry to ditto you, ame, but that''s what I was thinking, too. A plain band.

But I think the two look perfect together.

I think she made have already decided. this thread started back in March. maybe she''ll jump in and give us an update
