Calling all eagle eyeballs:bigsmile:
So, compared to the oval bold pad color spinel in the first video, what say you about the other round spinel?
This stone is one of those chameleons to the naked eye and is hard to pin down. I think she's an interesting one.
Curious how she translates to all of you on screen.
What do you see?

I would call it imperial. Simply because Yvonne had intense pink-orange spinels she called imperial, and the color is very pleasing and regal-looking. :kiss2:

OoOoh, imperial. Sounds so fancy.
I like it  I'll take it.

Reddish-orange-ish with a teensy splash of brown? Imperial does sound nice, by the way...

The color is very interesting! Beautiful stone in all lights.

She's a shifty thing all right. In direct sun she lights up from the inside like a fire ember.

To my eye it’s like a pinky Malaya garnet color. Very beautiful.

Of course it is hard t tell by videos and different monitors, but your oval looks like a light tone red. I really don't see the orange on my screen. Looks slightly grayish. The round a medium light tone red. Slightly grayish.

Looking more at the round there looks there may be some orange in it. But red that's a little desaturated can look that way. Really hard to tell in the videos. Nice stones though!

Interesting! It's cool that you see something way different!
No gray in either of them in real life, though the pad oval is sleepy because of silk; could certainly translate that way. My phone tends to desaturate reds.
The oval is standard bold pad orange/pink and the round is orange/red/pink shifter, almost layered, depending on light source. It looks closest to an ember in direct sun.
