Hello! I am totally debating whether to reset this 3.36 carat into this 6 prong more classic solitaire setting. What do you all think?

I absolutely love a plain solitaire as personally for me, the clean lines & lack of fuss makes my heart sing.

I would say go for it!

I love your current setting but I completely understand the allure of a solitaire...
Can you set your stone in the solitaire setting but still keep your current setting (empty) just in case you change your mind in the future and want to go back?

Go for it then ~ you can always change back. It's nice to change it up every now and then.

Maybe get a cz ring of that size to wear and see how you like it before you do anything.

I already have one ! This CZ is a little smaller (9mm) than my real one (9.6mm) so it will look a tad bigger

Ok, well in that case, I say change the ring. You can always put it back in the first setting if it's not to your liking.

I think I will thank you so much!!! I just needed a few opinions to go ahead with it :) I like the split shank one its in but sometimes I look at it and it looks so....metally and pokey I can't describe it... almost cheap looking like it takes away from the beautiful diamond . But thanks agian for yalls opinions!!!

I say do it , I went from a solitaire to a halo back to a solitaire and have zero regret.

I’m a solitaire gal, but respect all setting choices; I’d say if you’re tempted go for it.
