Hello:

I am going to resurrect an old tradition started years ago by Mara which discusses fashion desires and conquests ( ) for the upcoming season. Please share! Add pictures and links if you are able. I'll begin.

I am looking for bright patterns and florals to enhance my wardrobe this year. I really would love to find a couple of silk chiffon tanks and tops that have red or orange florals (poppies if possible). And I have been on a ruffle rampage! I love a delicate ruffle around my neck.....

Anthropolgie: sunny soiree and blooming goldenrod dress.....

Guess Shoes: Hondo. Very high but cute!

Great ruffles from this Canadian company: love the silk top I got recently...

HI:

I see some LV monogram mules in my future.... :cheeky:

Got three Mink-Pink tops on sale--cool stuff from this Aussy label....

Don't tell me I am the only one shopping for Spring stuff--and I worked all week!

cheers--Sharon

I bought skirts this week. Here is one of them; the name of the print is 'tiny bubbles!'. I am looking for a perfect coral blouse, so far no luck. It needs to be plain, 3/4 sleeve, and not too pink.

Here is another little skirt I ordered this week:

This is great! Where did you order from?

HI:

Unfortunately the nude heels/Roger Vivier shoes I ordered were half a size too large and it sold out in my size. Hope Vegas may produce the shoe in my size.........

Hi Mayerling,
The brand is Royal Robbins. They have a website. The skirt is spf 50 sunscreen protection as well.

Sorry, the monogram open toed mule (Malibu)

http://www.louisvuitton.com/us/flash/index.jsp?direct1=home_entry_us

They have a hidden platform that makes them surprising easy to walk in despite the heel height. I an used to heels regardless but these are comfy!
The Malibu's are so cute. You must post pictures of them on your feet.

I scuffed the heel in Vegas--and they are at the shoe repair! :(( Had them on all of 5 minutes....... Oh well--they are still adorable!

cheers--Sharon

Wow Sharon that's a beautiful yet comfy looking dress! Can you share where you get your bandeaus? I bought some on ebay but am always looking for more colors.
I'm way into maxi dresses right now. I just purchased this maxi dress from Ny&co.com. Fingers crossed that it fits me!

Another staple is a cute pair of flip flops. However I like mine to have a little bling on them. The ones where my ugly foot is in are from Old Navy the rest are havaianas with various bling that I stuck on or came with the shoe.

Sweet FF's SandyCheeks! Gotta have enough to have a pair in every room...I take them off in one spot, and put on another from another room! P.S. Didn't see any "ugly" foot you were referring to

I boought the bandeau's from a shop locally--and they were $10 bucks each and really bright colors. Made by Zenata (?) I have worn one everyday and am thinking of going back and getting more colors. I am amazed that they fit SO well--as I tried on lacy ones in another brand that were completely useless--I mean they kept coming off when I lifted my arms  ...... My GF and I were talking about these and she said she saw some made by Wachol and they were $40---that is a bit steep when you want more than one color.

I hear you about maxi's--LAMB had few a cute styles. But so did H & M and they were SO well priced--like $20 bucks for certain styles! Good luck on your dress fitting!

cheers--Sharon

Hi Sandy!

Butting in to ask, how did the maxi dress fit you? I thinking of ordering one, but wanted to ask you first. Thanks!! :))

Hi Dani and Canuk-gal. The dress was meh, too much going on around the bust area. So I returned it. I've also been searching ebay for cute maxis and have one on the way.

The purple dress below is a gypsy05, one of my favorites. However I wear a half cami under because I'm beyond the shelf life of showing cleavage.

HA! Shelf life of showing cleavage--totally halir! I know you don't show your face--but "look" pretty young to me! The dress looks very soft and I love purple. Sorry your other choice didn't work out.

I am going to Cali for a month and hope I score some cute dresses there--good factory outlets here I come!

chers--Sharon

BTW, does anyone besides me to the Spring/closet clean thing? I did it today--and am happy to have "thinned" out my drawers/closet.

cheers--Sharon

Wow Sharon, one month In California? You're going to have lots of fun shopping. I'm in so cal and for outlets I like Camarillo premium, my Mom lives up there so I always stop by. And Cabazon premium outlets in the desert is decent too. As far as malls there are so many. If you want to go upscale then obviously Rodeo and the department stores on Wilshire (Saks, barneys). I would not go to Hollywood for shopping, there is a mall at Hollywood and Highland but nothing to write home about. There's the shops along Robertson avenue in La that lots of hipsters frequent. I'm in Pasadena, we've got Old Town and Paseo Colorado nothing that great. if you're in OC Fashion Island is really nice. Be prepared for 9.8 percent sales tax though. Have lots of fun!!

HI:

Great tips, thanks! We go to Cali annually, I really love it. Last year we spent our time in BH--I jogged Rodeo Drive every morning (I am sure people thought I was NUTS) and shopped in the afternoon. Often just wiondow shopping but the exercise was good and the shops fun to poke around in. Talk about variety!

We will be in the desert and therefore Cabazon is a plan for sure! Lots of good shopping in PS in general.

Shop on! :wavey:

cheers--Sharon
