Stacking mother’s rings turned pendant

I had these Stuller rings made a couple of years ago, and I loved them for awhile, but they trapped a lot of water when I washed my hands, and they were a pain. I always passed up wearing them, and it made me sad since they are so pretty! I’m usually a classic/antique girl and ti Ike’s this contemporary look for something different. I didn’t have them soldered as rings, but I decided to do so when I had them turned into a pendant. There was a significant amount of scrap gold after this, which paid for 1/3 of the work! I am thinking of buying a 3-inch extender to be worn with some outfits. We decided to orient the aqua and garnet south.

Sapph, aqua, garnet for my three babies! Plain band just because I liked the way it looked with the stack when I had the others made.

On my ring finger is a bead set 3/4 eternity in plat, and a Birks antique plat band—I wear those everyday with my ering. Also pictured is a cheapo stainless steel rolling ring because I’m saving for a trip to Cartier this year and I’m doing some research!

It’s a heavy-ish pendant due to all the gold! I am so happy I had the rings transformed—I will wear them much more often like this!

The gold scrap comment above—I didn’t finish my thought there.—I meant it paid for 1/3 of the total work I had done:

-Pendant transformation
-Polish and check prongs for: 2 platinum bands, ering, studs, and diamond bezel pendant (also shortened the chain 1 inch).
-also purchased a very delicate thin white gold chain that I needed to replace the durable Italian wheat chain I needed to be used for this new pendant. I have an aqua pendant I never wear, but it was the first splurge loose gemstone DH bought for me, so it is very special. We switched out that chain for this repurpose.

I honestly don’t know how my guy stays in business. I got his name from the local pawn shop when I found my transitional diamond a few years ago. He only takes cash or check, but who needs a credit card when he charges so little! I’ve referred a lot of business to him since I met him!
