I haven''t been posting too much in the LIW threads, mainly because it made me feel discouraged and I wanted to try and concentrate on other parts of my life and just let the engagement happen in its own time...but I''m starting to get the feeling it could happen soon (meaning the next couple of weeks). I have been so happy for everyone that has gotten engaged on here recently (though still on pins and needles waiting for pics of Fisher''s ring...or have I missed them somewhere?), so I just wanted to share my excitement with you all.
A little background: He bought a diamond a long time ago and we finally picked a setting by Michael Bondanza about a month and a half ago. But, because of the vacation timing of the jewelry industry, there has been some delay in getting it done. I think it may still be a week or so before the ring is finished, but my BF has started getting extra sweet lately and he just seems very happy. Now, maybe it has nothing to do with the ring and engagement, but I''m hoping it does. He knows I don''t want anything too extravagent or out-there for a proposal, so it will be really hard to guess exactly when it could happen, but I''m starting to get that feeling that so many other LIWs have described.
Anyway, I guess this is also a thank-you to all the other LIWs for sharing their stories. It''s been very comforting to hear other girls going through some of the same emotions that I have been.
