Still Not Married...

Ok, for those of you who remember me (is there anyone??? yikes!) I am, as the subject says, STILL not married. Engaged, yes. And to the same wonderful guy. But anywho I''ve been wondering if anyone knows of any sites where the wedding dresses are not just white. I''m looking for one that is a pale blue because I intend for the colors to be pale blue and white. In fact I want the cake to look like Wedgewood China. I know it''s different and I''m having trouble finding anything like that so thought I would just fish around and see if anyone could throw me a few links.

I would try Vera Wang Bridesmaids, Jim Hjelm bridesmaids, Watters maids etc. I guess you can see a trend here! Many designers are making very very affordable BM dresses that are long and look very bridal-y. They also come in every color of the rainbow.

I know that Romona Keveza (sp?) has a silvery blue color.. its BEAUTIFUL.. in fact my dream dress was the blue color... just gorgeous.. check her out...

I know Jim Hjelm has a blush color... but not sure about blue. You should def. check out the RK site... she just has some great designs.. and the blue color is DIVINE.

Doesnt Reem Acra also have a blue color?

Some ideas. The first three are Reem Acra, then a Platinum, then on the bottom Sposa di Gio, two by Impressions, and one by Mary's Bridal. I love icy blue for a gown!

FacetFire - yes, yes, yes! The bottom row, second from the left. That is beautiful! Is that by Impressions? (ETA: I realize that it isn't blue though. It looked blue because of the blue background. But I still love the style)

MustangGal, I thought about a white with a blue sash but I'm just not sure. I do like them a lot but I was trying to think of something different. If I can't find exactly what I am looking for I may just do that. I'll be just as happy but I would like to exhaust all my options with the all blue.

I would love to attend the get together if it is able to happen. I just hope it isn''t the weekend of the 12th. I will be attending a family reunion in Balto., MD at that time. And I only live about 30 - 45 minutes from Charlotte so it isn''t that far away. I didn''t mean to vanish like that but so many things started happening around here and before I knew it I lost touch with a LOT of people. I''m so glad to be back now.

Thanks we are very excited. I am open anytime (though I can no longer wear my wedding set!!!) All my travels are over until probably x-mas so I''ll be around. No no no, they DO have that Impressions gown in blue!! I remembered seeing it so I checked the website. It''s style 2732 and it comes in Ice Blue, Ivory, and White.

Do they? I''ll have to look again. I did pull it up but I admit I didn''t look at the colors. I saw the larger image of it and I''m not crazy about the cascade of ruffles. I did find a dress today in the light blue that I really like. I can''t remember the designer but it''s in my magazine. I''ll try posting a picture of it tomorrow. Right now it''s past my bedtime, I''ve typed too much and my eyes are going crossed.
