It''s that time of the year again and I need some of your help for stocking stuffer ideas and gifts (again).

My stocking stuffer list is small so far:

DVDs
chocolate
coffee
Microplane
Waterford crystal ornaments
Aveda stuff

I''ve been thinking about some other things like a coffee grinder, pearl earrings and gift certificates from Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salons. She also needs a new brown purse. Which one do you guys prefer in the pic below?

Help Please !

What do you guys think of this hand blown glass perfume bottle?

I like the bag on the right...

That''s not a stocking stuffer right? hehehe.

We just do small stocking stuffers, and sometimes we''re silly, aka Greg loves cartoon bandaids so I normally give him some of those.

I think this year he''s getting a big gift (he will be surprised since it''s supposed to be low-key Christmas) and then just a bunch of tiny things.

I like the Coach bag better than the Marc Jacobs bag. I don't love that double zipper, it does come in a single zipper style. I have that one in black, it's great. The perfume bottle is very pretty.

I like bag number 2 and the perfume bottle is pretty.

Thanks guys, I went back and forth on the bag. I went to Coach to buy it yesterday, but wasn''t blown away by the quality. It''s no Marc Jacobs, but then again it''s only a third of the price. I guess one can get spoiled but those top bags.

Any more ideas?

Haha that way with the money you save on the Coach bag there''s more money for sparklie''s!!!

What do you think of this freshwater pearl necklace for a stocking stuffer?

I know Lisa, but no sparkies. I''m banned, remember.

I started my Chanukah/Christmas shopping yesterday. I went to the mall early to pick up Harry Potter tickets and get good seats for the show.

Parking was INSANE. It took me 15-20 minutes to find a space. When my husband met me with the kids, it took him 45 minutes to find one.
I met him outside, (25 minutes into his search) gave him a movie ticket, took the kids, and got to the theater 45 minutes before the show. Luckily he found a space in time.

Best finds of the day were:
Gap Body—chenille (REALLY fluffy and soft) robe for $78.00. I got one in a very pretty red for my Sister-in-Law, who is Asian. My daughter liked it so much I got one for her too with matching slippers.

J Jill—chenille sweaters and throws. They had a deal where if you spend $100, you get a $20 coupon to be used in the month of December. Plus, I got 5% off by using my JJill credit card too.

I also got my In-Laws Tempur Pedic neck pillows. They fly cross country several times a year.

I am about halfway there...

The bag on the right is much cuter! (ETA - how big is that coach purse? I bought one similar and ended up returning it because the interior was so small it could only hold a wallet and a cell phone. It looks like the one you're thinking about is bigger. . .but, I just wanted to mention just in case it is tiny because I know you and your wife have kids and with kids, very tiny purses are totally impractical.)

noob,
Not loving the necklace. I saw that you looked at the pearl earrings that Lucky posted, now those I love!!
Wink did a great job on those.

Yes, necklace doesn''t do much for me either. I don''t like the fishline look! The earrings Lucky posted are AMAZING and I''d take these any day

Michelle, the purse is a big one. That''s a minimum requirement. With kids, almost anything ends up in there!

OK, here''s another question: Black or white pearls. And if black, black Akoya or black Tahitian?

These babies are Tahitian.

Are you saying that you are banned from buying sparklies? Surely that can''t be!

OK... I logged onto Oprah today for her favorite things.

Anyone have any experience with Philosopy Hope in a Jar and Kashwere robes? That Ralph Lauren sweater was nice as well.

Really tempted to order those croisants

noobie, you watched Oprah, can I just kiss you right now. Ok just kidding,

noobie you so need to be cloned!

i love philosophy items!!

Well I can''t say I watch Oprah. My wife records it, and on rare occasion, I get home early enough to see some of it when she plays it. Yesterday, just happened to be one of those days. Howver I got some great ideas.

OK question: Which gift card would you prefer to get: Bloomingdales or Nordstrom?

What do you think of this cashmere sweater set from Ralph Lauren? I ordered it on impulse as a Christmas gift. It''s returnable, so little risk.

I love the cashmere sweater set, great choice!!! I like Bloomies, but Norstrom''s is great too. Can''t loose either way.

Hi

The sweater set is great - though it won''t fit my personal rule - if it doesn''t go in the washing machine, tumble dryer or microwave, please don''t get it for me

My preferences: Bag 2. White pearls because it goes with diamonds, yellow gold and white gold / platinum better...Unless you get the black earrings and a string of black pearls as well

.

Can you tell me where the perfume bottle is from? It would be great for a friend of mine.
