I finally picked out the setting and now time to find a perfect stone.


Looking for:

ct 1.18-1.35
princess cut
budget $7500ish

I really like both those ones from GOG. The WF ones could be nice, but we have no idea because there are no real pictures of those stones, they are virtual stones.

Ditto, the GOG diamonds are excellent whereas the WF diamonds are an unknown quantity as are virtual stones. As to the appraisal after purchase you can certainly get one if you wish, but it depends on your comfort level. You will normally receive an appraisal from the vendor which is sufficient for insurance purposes however a detailed independant appraisal can be very useful also for insurance, and give you peace of mind.
