Hi all,

i would love your advice.

I have been in the market for a stone for a while and think I have narrowed it down to two options, however I cannot make my mind up.
1) radiant, 2.5 ct, colour D, vs1, very good cut, measurements: 9.26x6.92 so looks like a 3ct but slightly more than what i intended on paying.

2) radiant, 2ct, colour e, vvs1, excellent cut, measurements: 8.76x6.56 so looks like a 2,5 ct

Personally I know i want to be able to say that i gave 2,5 ct stone but is it worth the extra money especially considering the 2ct spreads large.

Hi Albert,

We cant give you our opinion on such limited info. Do you have photos, videos, ideal scope? Not knowing the difference in price, I can't say which is a better purchase.

About 5k is the difference

With fancy cuts we need to see images/video to help.

I understand these are the two stones, pictures of the website. Left is the 2.5ct and right the 2ct0D4CC27F-385E-44FE-AC9A-17E4485114F7.jpeg

I kinda like the 2ct stone more. Any idea of setting? If it's a solitaire then the difference in size might be worth considering but there are clever settings to make a 2ct look bigger/more impressive.

It looks like the faceting is nicer on the 2 ct stone.

I will be adding 2 side stones.

Nice. You'll need some good sized sides so I would save the money and get the 2ct. I don't know what ring size it's for but 2ct with side stones would look quite huge on a petite finger.
