Our wedding is on a Saturday night, and we are planning to invite all the out of town guests to a brunch on Sunday morning.

Is it appropriate for me to place invitations to the brunch as an enclosure card in the wedding invitations (for the out of towners only)? Or should I send a separate invitation out? We will need people to RSVP for the brunch as well, so it will probably involve a separate response card.

I''d love for guests to be able to stick both RSVPs in the same response envelope, but I am not sure if this jives with etiquette.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Makes complete sense to me to stick them in the invites and put both responses in the same envelope. But I know nothing about etiquette!

Etiquette would say to send another invite out, but don''t adhere to that if it doesn''t make sense to you and your social circle to do so.

People put so many enclosures in their invitations these days, I doubt anyone will be surprised to find a lovely invitation to brunch in with your invites.

Pop them in the same envelope, not only will you save paper on the envelope but also postage which can really add up!!

I was debating between sticking them in the same envelope or sending them out separately. My decision ended up being easier because the stationary company forgot to include the additional mini envelopes we required. So we included them in our invitations and several people mentioned they preferred it together since it reduced the possibility of them misplacing the various parts.

Thanks for the input ladies. I feel much better about including them with the invitations now.

Funny... I never considered myself the type of person who really cared much about details or etiquette until I started planning a wedding!!!!
