LOGR RG setting with 4.1ct Bicolored Rubellite tourmaline, cushion/checker cut. It''s really beautiful in person and the color is amazing. Sad I couldn''t capture it with the camera and its a cloudy day. The stone is eye clean but you can see the inclusions with the camera.

It came in a pretty box...

This picture shows the coloring of the stones, how the green blends in with the pink/red.

Thank you so much, everyone! I can''t wait for tomorrow to take more pictures. The stone was purchased from my jeweler. He has a huge collection of beautiful gemstones.

Oh now I remember, that was the "surprise gem" you wanted to keep secret until you got it done. Wow, that certainly was a lovely surprise, and such a unique and beautiful stone. It''s hard to find nice clean bi-colored tourmaline that is well cut to boot. Congratulations!! It''s a stunner!

Woohoo!! The sun was out today and I got to take some pictures of the ring..

I still can''t seem to get the vivid color of this stone, do you think it may be the checkered cut?
