The Pearl Necklace which originally came attached to the clasp in the photo images determined fake neckpiece11.jpg neckpiece22.jpg neckpiece33.jpg neckpiece44.jpg neckpiece55.jpg neckpiece66.jpg confirmed glass.

But the clasp looks to have real genuine gems pearls blue stones aswell as many diamonds which tend to be real diamonds!

Any suggest as to why the Sweden Clasp has real jewels upon a fake pearl necklace,Piece i was told A SWEDEN IMPORT
made mostlikely before 1945..?

Note - the clasp and connector both .835 sterling with 5 pearls look genuine and 4 blue unidentified round stones in the four corners. And maybe 44 small diamond surrounding the five pearls..

Don’t look like diamonds, not set like diamonds.

All of your threads here on PS have been of the “real or not” variety - I will be honest: your odds of stumbling onto a true steal of a deal are extremely low. Not zero, but low - certainly lower than if you personally took some time to learn about the stones and periods your estate finds thus far have highlighted.

Very pretty but the blue stones in the clasp look like swirled glass beads and the white stones paste ie pretend diamonds / costume jewellery.

I’m sorry to say the blue and white stones do not look real at all.

ok..i've concluded the entire piece is infact costume jewelry .with the Exception of the .835 silver clasp (Which Is A import of Sweden)mostlikly dates before 1950s.THANK "YOU ALL" FOR THE FEEDBACK..KIND REGARDS!!!...:saint::saint::saint:..

There is no reason to think the clasp was ever separate from the rest of the necklace. Silver is still considered to be costume jewelry material. There is little to no value in the clasp, or the necklace as a whole.
