Sweetest boyfriend ever!!!

Well, I was going to say how great my boyfriend is for making us dinner tonight, but he just ran into my office with a card, and huge vase of flowers, and a package of peep hearts (I love peeps)!! He put the flowers on my desk, handed me the card and candy and then said, "I''ve got to go.. "and kissed me and hurried out! Then minutes later, he called me on his cell phone and said that he thought I should have some flowers on my desk for Valentine''s day, and he had arranged these himself (he was sad they didn''t have my favorite, freesia!

Last night he told me, "Honey, I don''t have much for Valentine''s Day, because we''re saving for your stone..." He tricked me!! Then he said on the cell phone right now, "You have more waiting for you at home, too!" It''s a beaustiful bunch of pink and green- pink roses and gerber daises baby''s breath and all sorts of other flowers I don''t even know the name of.. Also, the glass is a dusty pink glass, and tied with a pink ribbon, with a small picture frame hanging from it.. He apparently didn''t know about the frame, otherwise he''d have put a picture in it.

And, he got me a card! He never gives cards! I love this man of mine..

It''s so funny because he can hardly ever surprise me. I live with him, nothing gets past me! Well, usually! I actually sat here with my mouth open! I love him so much.

I actually specifically told my fiance NOT to send me flowers at work because he did once and it was soooo sweet and made me so happy.......but it was the biggest pain EVER carrying this huge vase of flowers to the subway, switching trains, second subway car, 10 minute walk back home....

But he''s cooking me dinner tonight and hopefully having flowers for me there, so I''m happy!

That is so sweet! I have NEVER received flowers at work. Hard to believe, but never. I have received flowers, just never delivered or hand brought to me! Lucky lady, he is so sweet.

Did you get him anything? I only ask because I havent bought FI anything yet and need to run out and get something for him. I did make reservations and am taking him to dinner! I also left him a cute card and cookie when I left the house this morning!

Albi, I swear, you and I are living parallel lives on different sides of the country! I have to take the bus home, and on the phone, he''s like, you think you''ll get a ride home now, or maybe have an easy time on the bus? I emailed his mom who works literally a minute away from me, maybe she''ll give me a lift if she''s leaving aroudn the same time! MsFlutter. I haven''t gotten him ANYTHING! I''m hoping to pick up something good, but you never know with him, he dosen''t like to get things. I did put a Dove Truffle heart in his lunch this morning, and I was planning on giving the house a complete overhaul (cleaning, vaccuming, laundry) he always does the laundry (5 foot tall girl carrying huge load of laundry down two flights of stairs isn''t so fun) so I thought I''d so some. This is the second time I''ve received flowers at work, once was a long distance boyfriend who sent them for my birthday, and this is the other. My boss also gives me bunches of flowers sometimes.. Different though, he''s gay.

I have flowers on my desk today too ... I bought them myself. Sometimes a girls gotta to do what a girls gotta do.
