Take me off the list!!! Engaged an hour ago!!!!

I am engaged!

BF (well now FI!!!!) surprised me tonight at dinner with my parents! His parents had asked if they could watch his daughter tonight, so BF and I decided to go spend the evening with my parents for dinner. I met him at my parents right after work and I immediately knew something was up because my mom couldn''t stop grinning and she looked VERY nervous and kept looking at the clock!

Right at 5:30, the doorbell rang and it was BF''s parents with Jackie! We didn''t even have dinner!!!! BF''s dad made a speech about how much they have grown to love me in the last 2 years and how he hopes that I will always see him as a father. And my dad told BF that he couldn''t be happier to receive another son, but especially him into our family. And then BF''s dad gave my BF the RING!!!!! and BF got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with Jackie and him!!!! It was amazing!!!!! AND OF COURSE I SAID YES!!!!!!!!!!!

It all happened so fast, but I guess he planned it with his family to surprise me and MY FAMILY. (Because they CANNOT keep a secret!!)

So here is a pic and hopefully I will take more AFTER dinner! FI and I are heading out now to celebrate on our own!!!! Whooo-hooo!!!!!

Thank you, everyone! I think I am still on cloud nine!! I REALLY wasn''t expecting it at all!

We''ve had so many issues with his daughter''s BM that I really thought it was a ways away....

I don''t know all the specs, but I do know that he just walked into the nearest mall and got my ring (seriously...I sent him links from here long before I joined, but he''s a stubborn one!)

I know it''s not as beautiful as some of the rings here, but I am ecstatic that this means I FINALLY get to be his WIFE!!! (That really means more to me than anything and I often told him that I didn''t care if I never got a ring as long as we got married!) It is so stressful to pick up his daughter at school and to have to explain who I am and why it''s okay to release her to me, etc....I am sooooooo, sooooo happy!

Here is a profile shot and I hope to have more up soon, but for now I have to go back to work and pretend I am super busy.
