I'm taking offers on my remaining stones/rings on DB

http://diamondbistro.com/index.php?a=6&b=636 (sorry, first link didn't work).

Once these listings expire, I may not relist (haven't decided) but I would much rather sell them than deal with it... lol.. When I list more stuff next week, this "offer" won't apply.

I'm also open to swaps if someone has a well cut 10 x 8 stone that would fit in a stock setting. I'm not looking for any specific type of stone, so I'm open to most, as long as they are durable enough for a ring and are well cut and don't have nasty treatments (traditional heating or oiling is ok).

Thanks!

Link isn't working. :-(

Thanks, that other link was when I was signed into my account...oops! I have a lot of other stones that I'm going to be listing next week, so if you have an 8 x 10 stone and are looking for something specific and want to swap, please contact me via one of my listings.

I sent you a message regarding an 8x10 stone I have, so let me know if you don't get it!

The ruby/diamond band has sold! Many of my other DB listings have expired or are expiring. I hope to have time to list more loose stones later this week.

Any lavender/periwinkle spinels? :naughty: :naughty:

I have an oval spinel that had the pavilion recut by Dan Stair. The original vendor called it "quicksilver/violet". It looks lavender violet in most lighting. It is an oval and its 2.86ct - 10.68 x 8.96mm.

It was up on DB for awhile, but it expired. I will list it on loupetroop tomorrow with photos =)

I have another one that is more of a light silvery pink (not violet) but it hasn't been recut, so it's got a window, but I'll post a photo of that also in case you might be interested. It shows less color than the lavender one. It is 2.78ct 9.21 x 8.48 x 5.53mm.

I also have a grape spinel that Jerry Newman recut the pavilion; it was set in a ring at one time (but has no damage). It is much darker, however, typical grape spinel....It is 2.93ct - 8.2 x 7.7 x 5.9mm

Photos tomorrow!

Sorry about no follow up photos... My little canon (that I usually use) is at the doctor getting fixed :( and my cell phone washes out some lighter stones, but I'll try to get some decent ones of the lavender spinel and get it listed on loupetroop.

No problem!

Thanks for the update!

Look forward to seeing it!

Here is a photo of the three spinels next to each other. As you can see, the light pink one (almost white) has a large window, but it's deep enough that it should be able to be recut with no problem. Dan Stair is very reasonable for these recuts. The grape is much darker and needs light to show off it's color. Like many dark spinels, it can black out in dim lighting.

If you (or any one ) is interested in the light pink or grape spinel, contact me via my listing on loupetroop and make me an offer.... (Or, if you want the violet one, I'll throw in the the grape and light pink ones for next to nothing.) :naughty:
