first off, thanks for bringing her to my attention because now I have to blow a bunch of money on boxes lol.

Do the inserts come out? I would like to get one for my earring jackets.

And no, as far as I know, all of them are for rings and the inserts should not come out.

IMG_3159.jpg Those are all nice, thanks. Yeah, ideally I would like a box with no inserts. I bought a jewelry organizer that looks sort of like this but with more ring sections.

I need some kind of box or containers for things like jackets...

Thanks. Ok. Yeah something like those but smaller. I'll search for cufflink box... I may find something that way. I appreciate the help!

LOVE the travel size one you found! Yay!!

The Family Joolz is who did mine. It was an unusual design request (the intertwining of the first letters of our last names) and they did a very nice job with it. The quality isn't perfect (i.e.: the seams of the top and bottom box don't line up) but it's still very good and should stand up with time. It did take a couple of weeks to get it though, so if you're in a hurry it might not work for you.

Oh, one thing to note - they stitch the monogram instead of foiling it (which is what most others do).

Oh, I like that!! I'll sent them an email on Monday. Thanks.

Hey DS,
Do you already own any of these? Curious which you like the most if you do. I'm looking for something to hold some pieces.

I bought this, but this particular one is no longer available. There are probably similar ones. It is a wooden box just like some of the ring boxes vendors use, except larger. I didn't need a huge one, but this one was big enough for my needs. I do not plan on filling it up!

I was going to suggest making your own too, like in that link OECrystal posted above!! I've developed a several years too late fascination for the mrs box and refuse to pay the premium because I want LOTS of them so I have spent way too much time absolutely combing through every post in that thread...

Mine is still only half made as I need to do the top and the bottom squares still, but here is my first attempt ever! It's not too hard, so if you're so inclined I would say try a DIY :) I just went and bought silk velvet in like 8 different colours because I want a rainbow of these lol! My foam insert covers are a bit wonky so maybe I'll redo those :)

If you do DIY it, you could make the inserts however you like so that they can hold earrings?? I might try that next!

Actually, it does sound like a great summer project for my daughter and me.

Would love to see your version of this with modifications to hold earrings! Please post when you end up making it :)

As an aside, I have made mine so far entirely with double sided tape and velvet fabric rather than ribbon as I wasn't confident about my hand sewing skills. Seems to work pretty well!

Would anyone be interested in purchasing a Mrs Box for significantly less than their $75 price tag? I went through a phase where I bought a number of these full-price, and now would be happy to give them new homes. :) most have never even had a ring in them and are in perfect condition.

Yes. What colors and prices?:D

I had no idea what 'mrsbox' was and thought it might be another member on here or some type of diamond :lol-2::lol-2:
I, too, am also now intrigued about Mrs. Box!
PS does it again. Gets me hooked on a new luxe thing!

I'm really interested in a DIY project. How long does it take and is it quite costly if you DIY?

View media item 122475My obsession with them was mostly with their older collections. This is when they were made from pre-war French velvet so all of the colors were extremely limited edition. I loved these because they told a story and were truly vintage-made-new. The colors used to sell out in a heartbeat and once they were gone they were gone forever (since there was only a finite amount of each color of the old velvet). I felt so lucky to get my hands on these! Selling because I have duplicates or too similar colors. Condition is like-new and nearly perfect! I paid the full price of $75 each, and I will part with them for $30 each. Would strongly prefer to sell 2+ together to make shipping easier! Will package each in the original white cardboard box, too.

The colors that I'm willing to part with now are:

The Winchester (darker grey)
The Commodore (lighter grey)
The Northland (light blue)
The Circumstance (light green)
The Pemberly (classic pink)
The Daphne (magenta)

From the new collection I just have The Victoire (brighter pink). It is still sold on the website.

The picture shows the boxes in the order listed above. (let's see if I can get it to attach correctly)

I'm definitely interested in one, not sure I can spare the $ for 2 at the moment.. just trying to figure out the color.

Ok, let me know what you decide!

Could anyone tell me the best way to go about doing a small sale like this or how to exchange contact info? I am a newbie here!

Hi mk206--

I would be interested in the Winchester and Pemberly. :) If you set up a listing on Loupetroop or DiamondBistro, people would be able to contact you through there. You may want to start a thread in the Preloved section as well.

Yes, I would be very happy to get two from you, any of these two - Commodore, Victoire or the Daphne. Let us know if you are able to do a listing.

I will reply here and post to Preloved as soon as I get it listed! Loupetroop is giving an error message when I try to post the listing right now :(

Great! Please contact me or check out via PayPal using the diamondbistro link above. Just type the color you want in the notes!

I'm sorry but I tried the link and it is not working. Is there any way I can email you and reserve the last 2 colors please?
