Temporary mounting in UK

Hi

I need some help. I bought a diamond (from Dirtcheap.....highly recommend them....they were great). I want to have the diamond mounted in a temporary setting. Does anybody know of reputable jewelers in London who would set this diamond for me?

Also, is anyone else out there worried that the diamond you give a jeweler may not be the one you get back?? How can I protect myself?

KNOW your diamond... know where are the inclusions..
if there is a laser inscription on the girdle, you have something else
to recognize it.
