I can''t seem to find any thank you cards that I like. I don''t know what I''m looking for, either, which doesn''t help. I''ve looked online and at michael''s/joann''s, and they honestly all look the same to me.

Do people really care what my thank you cards look like? I really need to get them out, it''s been almost 3 weeks.

We wanted to put a photo from each wedding in the cards but I don''t even have the LA pro''s pics back yet, not to mention the Sloovenian pro''s pics. I just dont'' think I can wait for the pics. :-( I don''t think we have any friend/family snapshots from the Slovenian wedding that look professional enough to put in the card, otherwise I''d consider getting a bunch of prints made from the non-pro. Plus, another consideration, all the thank you cards I''m finding are larger than a 3"x5" print, so I''d have to have some custom-sized prints (like wallets??) made which won''t be quick either.

Any advice?

I thought all this obsessing was over now that the weddings are over!!

Honestly, I''d just buy the first ones you think look nice enough, don''t worry about including a picture (none of the people whose weddings I''ve been to recently have put in a pic), write ''em, and send ''em out. Done. I keep most invitations, or remember what they looked like, but thank you''s? Not so much. It''s the sentiment in your handwritten notes that counts.

What about your monogram or your last name? I am getting mine printed with a wedding picture directly on the card. They are 5 x 7 but they are flat cards. HTH

ETA: I think 90% of peopole don't even notice the card.

we did the cutest thank you cards, i am trying to remember where i got them but they have little stick figures of a bride and groom and they were in hawaii garb aka a grass skirt and it shows the beach and sand and sun behind them and it had our married names on the front of the card. they were sooo cute. i loved them. try looking on finestationery.com and greatgatsby.com (i think that is the url) as they have some great (and a little pricey) stuff on there, i think that may be where we got ours? its been 2 years since so im rusty!

I got very simple, classy cards that can be used forever! I had our names embossed on the top and they''re just great. I ordered them from www.thestationerystudio.com. I wouldn''t mess with pictures, save yourself the hassle!

oh actually that website is mygatsby.com and they have pretty unique things on there...

i am a sucker for stationery and the like so i love visiting different sites and drooling over all the options! have fun!

I bought red flat cards off papersource, a thank you stamp and a star stamp. I stamp the thank you in black, the stars in silver and stuff them in silver envelopes. Our colors are red, black and grey, so they pull together nicely with our theme and they were easy.

Seriously, just buy some and get them sent out!

I can''t imagine that anyone will really care what the cards themselves look like.
I understand that you want them to look nice, but really it''s far more important to get them out promptly.

We got our thank you cards mail order. I did monogram, because you can use them later for stationary. They were relatively inexpensive, the paper is thick enough for formal thank you's, and they came QUICK. Our initials are "RBI," "runs batted in" as my DH pointed out, but since we are baseball fans and have season tickets, it's not a bad thing! They have a gazillion papers/styles to choose from on this site. I would order again from them.

You can't really see it in the photo, but the paper is a beautiful pale sage green.

Edited to say: Curlygirl posted this too! Can't say again how happy I am with the quality of the cards, and they do come quick!

You can make photo cards on snapfish.com if you have a good non-pro shot from the wedding. It doesn''t have to be one of the 2 of you...it could be something more candid or a shot of your wedding location. They look cool in black & white...

I just bought a few different nice ones off the shelf and included a 3x5 picture of us from the wedding inside. I know I personally don''t care what a thank you card looks like - it''s more about the sentiment inside.

Ugh. Selflove, I am in the same boat you are in. Originally I too had wanted to send out thank yous with a pic from the wedding but it looks like that ain''t gonna happen. So I finally buckled and bought some simple white cards with silver raised "Thank you" from Michaels. Nice, simple, classy and easy. But like you I agonized before caving in.

I guess I just like to give myself a hard time, haha. Now to just sit down and write them! LOL!

We didn''t have fancy ones. Since we got married in Charleston, SC, we used a palm tree theme. We didn''t include a picture of ourselves or anything.
