I too have a countdown for my Disney proposal -

I literally just googled countdown and found one that calculates EVERYTHING. Kind of funny.

So yeah - countdown is getting closer to my proposal and I am getting excited. I keep trying NOT to think about it and get busy with other things (another reason I have been MIA from PS) but it''s getting too close to be anything but giddy!! hehe I am trying VERY hard to wait.

So thank you Rubybeth for posting a countdown - it is a splendid idea!!

Can you get Mouse Ears with "Just Married" embroidered on the back? I think that''d be so cool.
Will you get married in Disney also? I remember seeing a program on TV about destination weddings or wedding cakes or...something, and a couple got married at Disney (World, I think) and their cake was FABULOUS - with gold mouse ears all over it... elegant, yet cartoony.

Thanks for the yay!! hehe Well I have been with my guy for almost 3 years and he is REALLY bad with secrets. I have posted a few times on here about how bad he is with keeping things from me. He talks about it with EVERYONE in front of me, and so on. So needless to say - I caught on quickly. Feb 17th will be our 3 year anniversary and I have always dreamed of a Disney proposal - so it seems to have unfolded just as I dreamed.

And yes - Disney does have Mr. and Mrs. mickey mouse ears that are adorable. And cast members that see you weraing them do special things. that I''m sure we will have. My best friend will also be getting a shirt and sweatshirt (hopefully) made more me saying "Just Engaged". So it will be somewhat "well known". As for a Disney wedding - I WISH!! haha It''s quite expensive, and I know I''d rather have that money for a home or the honeymoon. Thats why the proposal fits perfectly. hehe Less money and still magical.

I will keep you posted and share pics of the day when it arrives. Thanks for the sweet words.

Well he hasn''t said it but her leaves a million and one clues and I have had friends let me know. Not to mention he does a lot in front of me... Like asking for my hand from my father as I stood 5 feet away and then trying to "cover it up". haha

Yeah - I went MIA for a few reasons but one was because I wanted to keep my excitement to a minimum until that day.

I can imagine, and you must tell me if I am right, that there is a real out of body awareness throughout the day... knowing that this day will be your most remarkable so far in your life, and that you can enjoy and savor every second. he seems to be wanting to make ALL YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE! I think that is amazing. I hope its the fairy tale you''ve dreamt of.... finding the price charming was the hard part, right!

I am quite the planner and would appreciate knowing the day and part of the whole idea- but there are Just so many different scenarios that could play out for the two of you- so there is quite the element of surprise still left in it... its going to be a wonderful day for sure!

I love the idea of the ears to comemorate your special day! I can''t wait to hear about it all !!

You are FULLY on track with the out of body feeling. I will find myself thinking about it and playing it out as if it were a movie until I realize - It''s REAL life!! I know I would have loved to be surprised, but I also have been enjoying knowing a little more. It give me "prep" for the big day. And it allows me to have a giddy smile for "no reason" because I know a secret. hehe I have been truly blessed and by all standards found a "prince charming" to really make my dreams come true. I couldn''t be luckier!! Thank you for the comments!! It means a lot to have people so excited for me.

That question is not strange at all!! We actually picked out a ring together, but later I came to find he didn''t purchase that one. So I am somewhat in the dark about it, yet I have a lot of faith in him. He has been Mr. diamond expert lately so I know what he chooses will be glorious. It''s the one surprise I am DETERMINED to keep a surprise.

And I am not sure where in the park he will pop the question... By the castle is my best assumption, but again, it''s better left a surprise. And along with the adorable Mr. and Mrs. ears (I''ll take pics) there is also a Disney pin to celebrate and my best friend is having a shirt and sweatshirt made to keep the "just engaged" look continuous. haha And she totally wants to get the "Disney Dream Team" (who give the million year of dream prizes out) to place us in the Walt Disney Suite... But I doubt it''ll happen. hehe Either way it will be a wonderful day!!

Too funny! You think that''s bad. My BF finally gave up trying to do the ring thing for me bc I am so picky and we are now doing it together. That''s why I''ve been MIA. Now that I am involved in the process I have a whole new respect for the men out there who do it and do it right! This is tough work!!! I think in the end though it will perfect. Now I get fly to NYC to meet the man himself (Leon) and design my own perfect ring!! Very exciting! So things are good down here in FL. Can''t wait to hear your story in 13 days!!! I know it will be magical!

Wow - things are getting closer and closer!! I feel like just yesterday I was wondering if my time would EVER arrive and now it''s just around the corner. I have had dreams EVERY night about it and Eric has been acting very lovey-dovey. hehe I have also learned we are going to a special dinner in the park where I think the proposal will actually occur. Yes it is basically a dream I have had for years. I never dreamed it would actually come true but I am blessed that it is.
