The brown diamond that got away

I was just thinking about the brown diamond that got away. A brown diamond and a French cut are both on my wishlist. I found a combo and I was In love. I was on the fence because I felt the price was to high and it was a bit smaller than I wanted- and then it sold and I was crushed. I was able to track it down but the company who purchased it is was asking $1k higher than the price that I already thought was steep. anyways- an antique cut brownie and a French cut are both on my wishlist. I’m not actively searching and and technically I just blew my diamond budget for the next 20 years but if anyone comes across either one of those (brown old cut or a French cut) let me know. If the right stone comes along I can probably sell a kidney or twist my husband’s arm (again).

Don’t know if this is something you might be interested in. I haven’t viewed the report so don’t know if the diamond is officially brown. I have thought about getting this one a few times and setting it in rose gold, but better things came along. Still on my wishlist though but have at it if it interests you.

Don’t know if this is something you might be interested in. I haven’t viewed the report so don’t know if the diamond is officially brown. I have thought about getting this one a few times and setting it in rose gold, but better things came along. Still on my wishlist though but have at it if it interests you.

That’s what happens for posting it on PS. I had my eye on it for 6 months or more and then decided on an AVC instead. Now poof!

Ha ha I was going to share a pic of one that I found today but I’m going to just keep it to myself now! It’s a bit expensive but I might be able to swing it if it’s still there in a few months.
