Greetings, everyone.
Just thought I'd create my own SMTR thread sharing pix of a shallow cut cushion which is rarely seen in Pricescope: the Henri Daussi cut.
I bought it in March as an engagement ring for the woman I love. Still working on a proposal plan tho...

Yes, it has a shallow depth.
Yes, it has a large table.
Yes, it looks glassy sometimes from certain angles.
Yes, it does not blind your eyes the way radiants do.
Yes, it is not icy white.
Yes, it does not cost me a mortgage.
BUT I think it's beautiful and I LOVE it!

It''s beautiful. She is very lucky to have a man who put so much thought into her ring.

..looking a little ''green'' in the morning..

You can see the large table clearly here... larger flashes but much fewer scintillations..

A little fire shot...

some colorful melee fire ...

Faces up rather white, I think...

''fiery glow''...

Under more subdued lighting... the K ivory tint becomes more apparent.

Ok, I gotta stop here. But shiny car bonnets certainly make good backdrops. Heh. Anyway, thanks for looking!

Sounds fabulous to me! I have never heard of the cut but find your ring beautiful! Good luck on the proposal

that is a very interesting cut! It looks kinda ... retro-futuristic, with its large-tabled look.

Well I think it''s pretty fabulous. Congratulations! I''m sure she''ll be thrilled!

That''s an intriguing cut. I would love to see one in person. In the picture, it looks as if it has some features of an emerald cut combined with the cushion cut.

Thanks for sharing the pics. I''ve seen the ads for this cut, but never anything beyond that. Always curious about it.
Nice ring! Please return with hand shots so we can see it on her finger !!

That is a gorgeous ring, and I love the diamond! I like that Daussi cut!

Thats a cut I''ve never heard of. Very interesting! It''s a lovely ring.

Wow, lovely!!!

I don''t think there could be anything better than a thoughtfully chosen ring! And I especially like the color! Thanks for showing it to us and good luck!

*an error has occurred...* bah! now I had to re-type...

Thank you all for your well wishes and kind words!
I agree it looks like a hybrid - like a cross btw an emerald step cut with cushion faceting style. My girlfriend loves to wear ''something different'' but likes vintage styles and I thought this is it.

Anyway, until I get the ring on her finger, I''m afraid you have to settle for my knobbly knuckles by way of a handshot... cheers!

Well now, that''s about the schmexiest "KNOBBY KNUCKLE" shot that I''ve ever seen on PS
