I'll just leave this post for the final products

Thanks again to ALL who helped along this journey... from choosing a vendor to do the recut to choosing a new setting to deciding whether or not to add a donut to the stem... you made this journey much more fun and much less stressful. All told, the entire process took a little over three months (including the AGS certifying and custom handmade settings). There were a few bumps along the way, but nothing major. Communication was fine and expectations were in line with what was delivered. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend using them for another recut.
On with the show! Presenting my Super Ideal AGS000 diamonds, now measuring .846ct (6.06mm, E/SI2) and .858ct (6.12mm, D/SI1), set in BGD handcrafted milgrained bezels with LaPousette stems (recycled from my original setting, in keeping with the theme of trying to keep as much of the original gift as possible). Their bezeled settings don't usually have a donut but I like wearing my earrings tight and I'm paranoid about stretching my piercing from jamming the stem too far into the flesh so the donut should save me
. Anyway, here are my new babies!!!
