Often, not only consumers but also professional sellers do not fully understand how much the diamond cut and size affect the diamond's color. There is a widespread belief that the diamond's color has the most significant impact on its overall appearance.

To allow everyone to see the contribution of the cut design, size, and diamond's absorption spectrum to the final color of the diamond, we have created a free tool.

I recommend checking how the color changes when switching from one oval design to another. Please note that the visual size of the diamond also changes in the process, even though the mass remains the same when changing the cut.
P.S. You can rotate the diamond.

Oh. This is FANTASTIC. Simple to use and illuminating - figuratively and literally. Gets the point across quick and easy.

Thank you for sharing this with us publicly @Serg!

Question @Serg - what size are the D-Z masters at GIA? And are the masters always RBs?

And what about fancy colour masters - how does that work, do they use real diamonds in all the labs? Or stimulants to equalize colour and size? Or do only a few labs grade certain fancy colours?
Also tagging @kenny and @Rockdiamond for any insights :))
