I wanted to update on the fraud issue at jewelsapphire but can't find the post. Why, and would I be informed by a moderator (Ella?) if any rule was broken? Things are getting worse and I thought here is the place people should know.

Best to Message Ella directly.

How do I do that? I can't find a Moderator contact.

The last I read of that thread, you had let it slip your preferred vendor from wildfish gems was the customer with the complaint.

The owner of jewel sapphire had responded in that original thred and clarified a few things and left it at "leave it to the solicitors" after which you divulged the link to wildfish gems.

Either you come across as the owner of wildfish gems drumming up business for yourself and bitching about the competition, or a very eager (yet not fully informed) customer eager to please the preferred vendor. Either way, why would a professional vendor be divulging private information such as this to a customer and then letting (or encouraging)? him to post about it online.

Warnings about vendors usually come from someone who had one (or more) experiences/concerns about that particular vendor, and usually, it's a solicitation to see if others have had the same experience. Neither was true on this thread.......

When it's done openly it's fine. In this case it seems like (at the very least) a vendor has been discussing private information with a customer and that customer is coming here "warning" everyone without openly giving the full story i.e that it's come from that initial vendor.

It likely got closed because those types of pissing matches between vendors doesn't need to be here.

They're grown folks, they can handle their business in a better way with out this board being the intermediary and folks gawking.

I at first thought it was a true consumer issue, and its not, this is a vendor to vendor issue.

Now why can't I be this articulate and succinct!

Consumers are allowed to post about their own experiences with vendors. Trade members or someone posting about alleged experiences and situations are not allowed and threads will continue to close.
