Belle, I hope Irina can resize that last photo for me because it's pretty visually informative. I think it will help to answer Ann's question about how far apart the diamonds are.

The diamonds on the chain are 7 pointers. The one in between the pear and the chain is a 10 pointer.

Oh, and thanks Ann for the clasp compliment. My choices were narrowed way down because the necklace is platinum and there isn't a lot out there. I definitely fretted about the clasps!

thanks katebar! It''s more of a copy though. The only thing I worked on was making the necklace adjustable. It''s probably hard to tell, but there are "jump rings" between the diamonds so that I can change the length.

I have to see if the lengths the necklace adjusts to currently will work on my neck. Otherwise, we may need to do some minor tweeking.

Thanks KC! Yes, I think this pear works better as a pendant for me, rather than in the ring it was originally set in when I bought it. Ahh, but what to do with that setting.....
