I'm selling an 18kt yellow gold custom made pair of hoops. And they're GORGEOUS.
I have these hoops in yellow, rose and white gold, and the pair I have for sale are just a teensy bit larger than the ones I wear. So. Why are they so great?
Well, they're solid, for a start. Literally solid. None of that hollow hoops business here! They hang beautifully without being too heavy, and don't 'travel' to get caught in your hair; you'll never catch your reflection, only to find you're wearing these upside down! The extra weight keeps them in place.
They're hinged and self latching. They don't have that flimsy 'hinged arm' closure, where the tiny little moveable arm has to clip into a 'U' clasp - which inevitably snaps off over time or gets bent beyond using. These are hinged half way around the hoop, so they fully open, and one end, which is pointed, clicks into the other end, which is open, and at 1.7" they're a nice, generous size, without making you look like you're going to a 1970's party dressed as Cher.
Lastly, they're 18kt yellow gold and a super lush color! So basically, these casual-but-classy hoops are a step above in every way.
I paid $650 when I had these made by DKJ and I've never worn them. I'm selling them for $400. Speaking as someone with 3 identical pairs, I can highly recommend these for comfort, beauty, and understated elegance. Best hoops I've ever owned.
